Training dogs professional since 2011, Dianna is focused on helping dog owners connect with and love being around their dogs again. She achieves this by helping handlers better understand their dogs and using good humor to make dog training a fun game.

Dianna has been professionally training dogs since 2011. Throughout her career she has specialized in helping dogs who were reactive, fearful and aggressive. Dianna was able to improve the lives of these dogs implementing a series of behavior modification programs and weaving in other enrichment activities such as Scent Work, which she is quite passionate about.
Dianna is a Certified Training Partner with Karen Pryor Academy (KPA-CTP), a Certified Professional Dog Trainer - Knowledge Assessed through CPDT (CPDT-KA) and a Certified Nose Work Instructor through NACSW™.
At the height of her in-person training career, Dianna was teaching 22 group classes a week, traveling the country speaking at workshops and officiating Scent Work trials.
This was brought to an abrupt end upon sustaining a serious neck and back injury. Dianna was forced to retire from in-person training services. Unwilling to give up on her passion, Dianna devoted herself to finding a way to provide her dog training services virtually. She created Scent Work University which in a short period of time has amassed a large international client-base which she is incredibly thankful for. Pet Dog U was then created to provide general dog training services and support for a variety of dog sports, such as agility, canine fitness, canine parkour, rally, treibball and tricks. Dianna is excited to see both of these platforms continue to grow and cannot wait to see what the future brings.
In June 2021, Dianna co-founded a new Scent Work competition organization, Cyber Scent Work, Inc., which bridges the gap between training and trialing in Scent Work. Participants have the opportunity to choose the level, search element and odor track, submitting video entries in an attempt to earn titles and ribbons while also receiving helpful and detailed training feedback on every run. The response to Cyber Scent Work, Inc. has been phenomenal and Dianna is thrilled with how quickly it is growing.
